Alex the Poet.
As many of you know, Alex is our little writer. Last year she was one of 12 students picked out of 250 applicants to get her book published. It's a great story about a bad dog named Sally. Well, this year our school participated in a Cowboy Poetry writing contest. Here is the letter that was sent home with Alex today!

Dang...I'm impressed!! Tell her to be sure and remember her Aunt Bev when she's rich and famous!! What a talented sweet thing she is. You must be one proud Momma!!
