My dad has always loved animals. We always had tons of pets growing up. We had pigs, cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds. Just to name a few.
Well, this past week a new friend has come to the Stanley farm. He's an African dessert tortoise. He'll grow up to be really big like the tortoises you see in the zoo. I like him because he mellow and slow. The turtles we're use to seeing hit the ground running and never look back. Mellow is the way to go.
