My Grandma (the kids Great Grandma) Stanley passed away early this morning. She was my Dad's stepmother but Always, Always considered our Grandma. We love her very much and we know that we will get to see her again. Since Grandpa Stanley has Alzheimer's he isn't quite understanding what has happened. 
The kids and I went through pictures and scrapbooks while I explained that their Great Grandma had passed away. They were very sad. They liked going and visiting and playing with all the toys and crayons Grandma would get out. Alex remembers the melted cheese sandwiches we always had there.
We love our Grandma Stanley. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will look forward to the time when we can be together again.
