We went camping with Uncle Will!!
My Mom and Dad came too. We met Trenton and Sara up there. We went to Mt. Graham. We had so much fun. This was at the end of July, our one last hurrah before school started.
Sara and Houston. What a cutie he is. We had a lot of fun watching Houston explore and stir the fire. He was such a good camper!
Alex and Sydney of course loved to be by the fire too. Alex ran a fever the day we left but she was a real trooper. A little Tylenol and lots of fresh air will do the body good. By the second day she was feeling better and off exploring the wilderness.
Trenton, Uncle Will, and Papa. Good thing these boys came along! We always had plenty of firewood, and thanks to them the girls and I slept very dry. Yes, we did get rained on but everything in our tent, including us, stayed nice and dry. Thanks Trent!
Rain? YES it rained! It was still fun though. It wasn't freezing cold and the sun would soon come out. That's our tent all nice and dry.
The girls loved this massive rock. They spent a lot of time up there on that rock!
Not the greatest picture, but that is hail! Not only did it rain but it hailed as well. During the really bad storm we all headed to Will's trailer and took a nap while the thunder rolled.
And still more rain!
Our poor camp fire couldn't keep up! As soon as the rain was gone the boys got to work and within minutes we had a nice warm fire.
Houston, like I said a cutie!
The girls reading on their rock. These girls read more than any kids I know. They always have a book, they take a book with them everywhere they go. Strange? Nah, I think it's cool!

Houston joined the party!
Trent brought his Rhino thing. We had fun riding back to camp from the lake in it. It came in handy when looking for firewood. I might need to get me one of these to drive back and forth to school. The kids would like it!
Once we got home, we stayed the night at Nana's. We took some much needed showers and did a few loads of laundry. Bonzo cat was very happy to see us. We were happy to be back!
The girls put their books away for a little while and enjoyed the carpet on their feet and the toys in their hands. They loved camping but they were very happy to be home. We're looking forward to our next camping trip!

Thanks for finally posting about the camping trip. I was waiting to post on my blog for the pics since I was a stick in the mud. We did have a lot of fun. Thanks for letting us tag along with you guys! We loved it!
